Co-creation Hub is the largest innovation center in Africa. In 2010, we started out as Nigeria's premier innovation centre dedicated to accelerating the application of social capital and technology for economic prosperity in Nigeria. We have since grown our physical presence to five cities (Lagos, Abuja, Ijebu-Ode, Kigali and Nairobi) across Africa and we work closely with stakeholders - including entrepreneurs, technologists, civil society, government and private sector to identify and nurture novel solutions to social challenges in Africa.
Over the years, we have supported African youth-led businesses and initiatives at different stages, by designing and implementing programs that have built their capacity, helped them create unique solutions, incorporate sustainable operational structures, and create job opportunities.
Our support programs have helped over 150 young entrepreneurs launch their ideas or scale-up their existing solutions, working with a broad network of local and international partners.
The Beatfreeks Collective is a group of companies using creativity for good, based in the heart of Birmingham.
At the heart of our work is a movement of people using creativity to challenge the world to be better. Our community is made up of artists, activists, entrepreneurs, designers, technologists, researchers and more. From convening young people in coffee shops to explore poetry as social commentary, to our work with large organisations running youth communication campaigns to grow their audiences, through to our innovative ideas to democratise data through tea and biscuits, our Collective works together to fuel conversations and concepts that dare people to challenge the way of the world.
Our main objective is to develop art activists or ‘Artivists’; socially and critically engage young artists who use their work to be thought-leading, provide social commentary or act as provocation for wider discussions.
